Business Development Manager
CTG is seeking to fill a Business Development Manager opening for our client in Morrisville, NC. Location: Morrisville, NC Duration: 12+ months, with possibility for extension Duties: Drive business development activities by identifying, qualifying, and converting new opportunities within the technology sector. Work with field partners and end-user customers to promote joint offerings and solutions. Provide education and enablement to sales teams around product offerings, including conducting high-level product demos. Manage accounts, provide proactive follow-up, and offer solutions via voice, video, and in-person meetings. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage corporate initiatives, including weekly forecasting, opportunity management, and program follow-ups with partners. Build strong relationships and work closely with executives to ensure joint KPIs are met. Deliver consultative selling by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions. Skills: Strong understanding of the IT industry and technology solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present hardware portfolios and related solutions effectively. Strong consultative sales approach with a focus on relationship-building. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Experience: 2-3 years of professional inside or outside sales experience in a technology or IT industry. Previous experience in a quota-carrying sales role is required. Proven track record of successfully identifying and acquiring new business opportunities. Ability to penetrate accounts, acquire new customers, and transition opportunities effectively. Experience with technology-based solutions and consultative selling techniques. The ideal Business Development Manager will be aggressive, goal-oriented, and possess strong collaboration skills. A strong personality with the desire to reach high performance goals is a must. An understanding of conferencing platforms and cloud-based solutions is ideal. Education: A degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
