BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
Position : Business Development Manager
Reports to : General Manager Turkey
Job Purpose
Business Development Manager is a key member of the Leadership Team with strong leadership & coaching skills along with commercial experience. The role contributes to country growth by developing and implementing a robust business development plan which generates high volume, quality sales-ready leads. The role includes leading and developing a team to achieve the plan, executing a diverse and large number of campaign, and working with the Regional Marketing team who supports the Country Marketing Manager. This role will work closely with commercial leaders in supporting and executing on sales bridges to ensure we maximise the opportunities for revenue across all channels. Understanding of the sales process is critical.

Leadership & Team Management:Exemplify Veralto Leadership AnchorsDemonstrate holistic leadership approach as a part of Leadership TeamLead, coach, mentor the teamDevelop and lead change initiatives, partnering with close alignment to all functions.Take the ownership and lead all engagement activities for the team.Lead by example as a people leader for Videojet and VeraltoCoach and support the associates on individual and team performance expectations and development priorities through P4G, D4G processes.Defines roles and accountabilities and models accountability.Values diversity and fosters an inclusive workplace.Build annual business development strategy with the global regional and country teams annually, plan and budget, establish objectives for the plan to include database efficacy and lead generation targets.Achieve lead generation (volume and quality) targets to deliver on the Turkey sales targets and growth.Deliver year-on-year increase in generating leads and revenue to drive sales growth working closely with internal cross functional teams and global teams.Establish and maintain process for handling leads from lead creation to customer order with a close opportunity follow up.Drive impactful incremental revenue growth by generating high quality sales ready leads from new and existing customers.Work closely with telemarketing, business development and sales teams to generate high quality sales ready leads and help those leads to convert into more advanced status in the funnel to increase lead to order successFunnel management understanding and close follow up the conversion metrics to support the deployment within the country sales and the marketing teams.Regular follow up and reporting of results versus plan for leads, quotes and incremental revenue, plan actions and countermeasures to ensure targets are achieved / exceeded.Visual management of business development performance.Lead a data expansion and maintenance process to improve and refresh the database, including those who interact with customers and prospects.• Ensure that business activities are fully compliant to local legislation and Veralto / Videojet standards.
Implement and oversees HSE requirements by employees, be the ambassador of “safety first” approach.Qualifications & Competencies
Degree level with post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline or MBA.Proven experience in developing and implementing business development strategies.Sales experience preferably in B2B is essential.Experienced in the development and execution of a commercial strategy, delivering business growth.Experienced in lead generation programs especially in outbound initiatives.Experienced in driving successful inside sales and telemarketing initiatives.Result driven – drives for action, for trying new things and for getting things done.Experience in managing databases, including segmentation, cleansing, and maintenance.Strong presentation and communication skills.Flexible with high level of initiative and ambition to achieve results.Good writing and speaking skills of both English and TurkishProficiency of MS Office ApplicationsGood analytical and planning skillsWillingness to travel extensively.At Veralto, we value diversity and the existence of similarities and differences, both visible and not, found in our workforce, workplace and throughout the markets we serve.
