Chenega Analytic Business Solutions (CABS) has an exciting career opportunity for an experienced **Business Development Manager** with a proven track record of identifying, pursuing, and winning business with the DoD and Federal Civilian markets. The ideal candidate must understand the business development process (identify, qualify, research, capture, proposal), and be capable of executing across all phases of the business development lifecycle. **Responsibilities** + Define target markets and customers. + Identify and qualify new business opportunities. + Develop and execute contact plans, shaping strategies, and capture plans. + Develop teaming strategies that engage internal and external partners. + Develop technical and programmatic solutions to meet customer needs. + Participate in the full spectrum of proposal development activities, including RFP analysis, content generation, and document reviews. + Provide input and insight into strategic plans, business forecasting, and business development processes. + Maintain a robust and executable pipeline of new business opportunities. + Update and maintain business development data in corporate tracking and reporting tools. + Work closely with Venturi and Chenega business development and operations personnel. + Engage in business development forums relevant to target markets and customers. + Other duties as assigned to meet business needs. + No formal supervisory responsibility. May be required to independently lead teams and ad-hoc work groups. + Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in business or technical field required. + 7+ years’ experience conducting, managing or supporting Business Development operations and functions. + Secret clearance required. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:** + Experience with the DoD and NASA professional services market + Familiarity with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) programs and requirements + Familiarity with Army acquisition organizations, including DEVCOM, PEO Missiles and Space, PEO Aviation, and AMCOM + Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency supplements (e.g., DFAR) + Must possess strong negotiating, influencing, and coaching skills + Must effectively communicate both through written and oral means. Writing skills are particularly important in this context. + Must be a team player + Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, MS Project), SharePoint and Outlook + Must possess a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Business Development lifecycle (identify, qualify, research, capture, proposal development), operations and competitive research and analysis + Must be process driven and be able to manage the integration of automation to improve process efficiencies **How you’ll grow** At Chenega MIOS, our professional development plan focuses on helping our team members at every level of their careers to identify and use their strengths to do their best work every day.
