The Cybereason Service Business Development Department is seeking dynamic and driven professionals to join our team and contribute to the growth and evolution of our cutting-edge solutions and services. We are focused on not only developing innovative, industry-leading capabilities but also fostering strategic relationships and engaging with key stakeholders to drive business success. The Business Development Manager (IC role) will report to the Service Business Development Director, APJ.
What you will do for JPAC
● Collaborate with the Sales Team: Actively partner with the sales team to co-create business opportunities, leveraging insights and expertise to drive growth and achieve mutual success.
● Market Insights and Service Innovation: Continuously monitor market trends and customer needs, providing valuable feedback to the relevant delivery teams to drive innovation and ensure our services remain industry-leading.
● Create and Review SoWs: Develop and/or review Statements of Work (SoWs), ensuring they accurately reflect customer requirements and align with our service delivery capabilities, ensuring optimal client satisfaction.
● Strategic Business Development: Assist in the creation and refinement of business strategies and plans, contributing to the long-term growth and success of the company.
● Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
● Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and elevate the overall client experience.
● Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, ensuring seamless communication, issue resolution, and continued satisfaction.
● Other duties as required to support the business.
What we look for
Educational Background (Preferred):
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
Professional Experience:
Minimum of 3-8 years in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably within the technology or cybersecurity industry. Proven track record in driving business growth, managing key client relationships, and achieving revenue targets.
Key Skills and Expertise:
・Strong understanding of business development processes, including lead generation, sales cycles, and closing deals.
・Experience in managing and nurturing client relationships, with a focus on long-term partnerships.
・Solid understanding of market trends and the ability to identify new business opportunities within the cybersecurity or technology sector.
・Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with senior executives, clients, and partners.
・Ability to create and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
・Experience in creating and managing contracts, including Statement of Work (SoW) and pricing models.
・Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools for generating qualified leads.
・Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
・Extensive experience in leading service business initiatives, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Technical Familiarity (Preferred):
While technical expertise is not required, a basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and solutions (e.g., incident response, threat intelligence, or endpoint protection) is highly beneficial for engaging effectively with clients and partners in the tech industry.
Soft Skills:
・A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to identify and seize new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
・Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically in fast-paced environments.
・Team-oriented with excellent collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
Additional Qualifications:
・Professional-level proficiency in both written Japanese and English. Business-level spoken Japanese is required, while proficiency in spoken English is preferred.
・Flexibility and readiness to travel as needed to meet clients, attend industry events, or pursue new business opportunities.
・Experience in managing complex projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and meeting deadlines.
