Under the direct supervision of the Executive Vice President and based out of the Midwest U.S., the National Business Development Specialist is responsible for hunting and prospecting to increase TMG's market share in the office services facilities management industry by adding new clients in the Midwest in accordance with TMG's business needs. The Midwest covers major markets in IL, OH, IN, MO, TX and more.\n
Responsibilities:\n
I. Strong prospecting skills. Make cold sales calls, research customer needs and develop application of services in an effective manner to ensure sales opportunities for TMG services. \n\nDetermining market strategies & goals for each service. \nObtaining & coordinating data & information from staff & member groups. \n Researching and developing lists of potential customers \nDoing market research to determine customer needs & providing information to other staff. \nEvaluating product & service marketability in terms of customers' technical & manufacturing needs. \nFollowing up on sales leads and making cold calls on potential customers. \nMaintaining up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect target markets. \nEstablishing & maintaining industry contacts that lead to sales.\n\n
II. Develop and deliver sales presentations and close sales in a professional and effective manner to ensure the meeting of specific quota goals and the generation of revenue. \n\nDeveloping sales and marketing proposals for customers on technical products & services. Travel is required.\nDeveloping technical presentations.\nMaintaining up-to-date awareness of activities and industry trends.\nMaking regular sales calls to develop relationships and follow up on leads.\nEstablishing long-term, ongoing repeat relationships.\nSupport closing deals.\n\n
III. Participate in sales forecasting and planning in an effective manner to ensure effective market planning & continued revenue stream. \n\nGathering analyzing and sharing customer technical information & feedback.\nWorking with other staff to identify future customer needs.\nMaintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of newly developing technologies and manufacturing practices\n\n
V. Manage travel budgets accordingly to ensure smooth fiscal operation by: \n\nSupport short and long-range budgets.\nMonitoring and working within established budgets.\nProviding accurate sales forecasting for budget planning.\n\n
Qualifications:\n
\u2022Working with a wide variety of individuals at levels ranging from corporate presidents to line managers.
\u2022Maintain all business activity in TMG database on salesforce.com.
\u2022High pressure, constantly changing environment.
\u2022Tracking rapidly changing competition & market forces.
\u2022Meeting established sales goals and quotas (2 million in new annual contract values, excluding C & W opportunities).
\u2022Maintaining an up-to-date working knowledge of the industries served and products & services.
\u2022Analyze & develop opportunities for possible deals.
\u2022Bachelor's degree in Business Management or other closely related field and 5 years of operational\/sales experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of operational experience.
\u2022Travel up to 25% required\n
