As a Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in driving Global Payments' growth by introducing our innovative product suite to a wide range of SME businesses, with a focus on identifying, nurturing and converting outbound leads. Key Areas of Responsibility:
Conducting outbound calls to connect with prospective clients, building and cultivating relationships that address their unique needs and challenges;Educating customers on how our products and services can benefit their businesses, ensuring they understand the value we bring;Qualifying outbound leads to ensure a strong fit between our offerings and the client’s needs, providing tailored solutions, converting opportunities into profitable sales, to achieve annual revenue targets;Coaching customers to maximise the full potential of our services, ensuring they feel confident and supported;Generating referrals for new business by fostering positive, long-lasting relationships with new clients;Working collaboratively with a growing team to execute and refine our sales strategy.About youYou are someone who thrives in an outbound sales environment, with the confidence to make cold calls and engage with a wide range of businesses. Ideally, previous experience in outbound sales, including prospecting and cold calling in a B2B environment, with a focus on building strong, meaningful connections;Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify business opportunities and initiate new sales in a competitive environment;Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to break down complex ideas and make them accessible to all;A natural ability to understand our customers' needs and align our products to help them succeed;Strong time management skills and an eye for detail, ensuring that nothing slips through the crack;The ability to work independently and take ownership, while also thriving in a supportive, collaborative team environment;Empathy and a genuine passion for helping customers improve their business practices;A drive to succeed, with the ambition to reach personal and team goals, while growing and developing in your career;Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for making lasting impressions;Experience in using Saleforce.com ideal however not essential.We believe in creating an environment where your skills are valued and your contributions are recognised. SalaryThe salary for this role is a base of $70, 000 - 85, 000 per annum + superannuation + commission with an On Target Earning (OTE) of $120, 000. Commission is uncapped.
