Exciting position in Global Category Management
We're seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to spearhead the launch and growth of our innovative wastewater category across the European market. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in collaboration with the local business unit , perform competitors tearsdown and ensuring the successful execution of product strategies in close alignment with the Global Product manager.
At this role you will play a critical role in driving product performance, aligning global initiatives with local market needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. You can work from any BFS location.
Your primary tasks
· Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the European markets
· Identify and qualify potential markets ensuring the right level of internal expertise and competition environment understanding
· Ensure Sales Team Readiness: Provide sales teams with the necessary knowledge and tools to effectively sell and support the product portfolio.
· Collaborate with Regional Teams: Work closely with regional teams to tailor product offerings, messaging, and go-to-market strategies to meet the unique needs of different markets.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
· Maintain an Outside-In Viewpoint: Stay informed about global market and customer trends to provide insights that inform product decisions.
· Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) Exercises: Gather and analyze customer feedback from global markets, maintaining a relevant and up-to-date market view.
· Provide regular sales forecasts and reports
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launch and ongoing support
We expect you to have
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is a plus.
· +5 years of experience in commercial , product management or a related role within the building products industry.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
· Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional and regional teams.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
· Customer-focused mindset, with a keen understanding of customer needs
and global market trends
