The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the customer base, driving revenue growth, and developing long-term client relationships.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the transportation industry
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to increase revenue and retention
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to high-value customers
• Negotiate and close deals based on value rather than price
• Maintain accurate records in CRM software to support business operations
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
• Stay informed about market trends, industry regulations, and competitor activity

The successful candidate has:
• 5+ years of experience in transport or logistics
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven track record in sales or business development
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to sell premium services in a competitive market
• Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
• Knowledge of North American geography and transit times
• Willingness to travel within Canada and the USA as needed
