Job Description
The Business Development Manager works closely with National Sales Managers and the Digital Specification Manager to develop and execute strategies driving spec share gains and growth with the mechanical engineering firms and architectural design firms. This role will be focused on drinking water and brass products, and are the technical expert for the products.
Positions are remotely based, but must be in major market near an airport: Southeast (GA, FL).
Key Accountabilities
Aligns with the National Sales Manager and Digital Specification Manager to develop and deploy regional campaigns and sales strategies to cultivate Zurn Elkay brands with owners, architects and engineers.Understands customer priorities and competitor market to close sales.Execute strategy to drive spec share gains with owners, architects, and engineers- new and existing products.Supports rep specification market share analysis by engineer, owner/architect, vertical, and product category.Utilizes Sales Funnel Management to capture spec share gains with the top active projects.Support interpreting Dodge/McGraw Hill analytics and regional specification improvement opportunities.Works with National Manager and Digital Specification Manager to ensure rep spec development resources are in place to assist in strategy execution.Provide feedback on needed training and development of materials or delivery.Provides qualitative intel for multi-generational product plans based on VOC and competitor offerings.Actively involved with regional industry groups such as ASPE, AIA, USGBC, or BOMA.Qualifications
