Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions, a division of the Arrow Electronics Group, provides IT professionals (service companies, editors and integrators) with global technological solutions associated with training and service offerings, in 5 main segments: servers, storage and virtualization, networks and security, infrastructure software and cloud solutions. As part of its growth, ARROW ECS UK is strengthening its teams and is looking for a:

Business Development Manager – Arrow Services

In this role, and as a key member of the EMEA Services sales team, you will drive local vendor’s teams transition to Arrow Service offering and evangelize the Arrow Services within our largest partners in Germany. This will involve developing the partners’ understanding of Arrow Services benefits and guiding them through ordering and delivery processes. You will bring strong knowledge of negotiation strategies and ability to orchestrate cross-functional resources across the company to secure Arrow Services attach rate.

Responsibilities:

Development and acceleration of Arrow Services business

Sales funnel management & forecasting

Assure that local vendor’s teams & partners have a good understanding of Arrow Services value proposition and are operational in quoting, ordering and escalating delivery issues

Utilize data and insights to co-create the sales strategy and potential opportunities identification

Forming and maintaining relationships both internally & externally, create account plan for major partners, agree on performance metrics and conduct quarterly reviews

Keeping up to date with industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge

What we need:

Minimum 7 years of successful sales experience within a distribution or partner environment

Good technology services background and industry expertise

Knowledge of Salesforce and other sales tools is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical customers.

Ability to travel as required to attend customer visits, trade shows and events

Ability to work independently and in an international team environment.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Good proficiency in German and English.
