THE JOB
Due to continued growth and opportunity the Business Development Manager shall be responsible for growing the General Admission Events, Attractions and Sport division by identifying new business opportunities within key verticals, establishing relationships with key contacts within target organisations, and expertly presenting Universe and Moshtix technology, products and services.
The candidate will naturally be driven by opportunities to create value and develop relationships with clients that yield results. This position requires a passionate, experienced and well-connected professional who can find creative solutions to commercial challenges, and who is capable of delivering profitable opportunities, which continue to grow our market share in this very important and unique sector.
THE TEAM
You’ll be joining the Business Development team at Moshtix & Universe, who are responsible for ensuring we secure new business opportunities, as well as renew existing business, by establishing and nurturing positive key stakeholder relationships with our client base. You’ll also be working as part of our General Admission Events, Attractions & Sports division, which focuses on touring exhibitions, immersive events, and a variety of food, beverage and lifestyle events
Your core focus will be generating new ticketing business across a range of diverse events and live experiences, ensuring we retain our leading position in the lucrative event ticketing market.
Your naturally outgoing personality will need to shine through at all times. The successful candidate will have a proven new business sales track record backed up by achievements against targets ideally in the ticketing industry and a strong network of existing relationships.

Fluent in EnglishTertiary educatedFluent in Microsoft Office and related applicationsProficiency in Salesforce will be highly regarded3-Years minimum experience in a similar Sales or Business development role ideally in the ticketing Events, Sports and Attraction industryStrong presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to present to multiple stakeholdersSkilled negotiator with a proven background of success in complex and long sales cyclesTrack record of delivering against strategic targets, KPI’s and activity levelsGood analytical skills, strategic thinking entrepreneurial mindsetStrong understanding and passion for Live entertainment, events and sportsExperienced in solutions selling ideally with a knowledge of ticketing, technology and modern marketing techniquesExperienced in building and maintaining relationships with range of stakeholders right up to senior level
