JR57049 Business Development Manager for Distribution

As Business Development Specialist supporting Embedded Business Unit (EBU), you will be a member of the EMEA Division broadmarket BDM team to develop the distribution corporate business as well as supporting revenue at distribution accounts. You will be responsible for the following specific (but not only) activities:

Develop business plan and product positioning for assigned EMEA distribution businessDrive and monitor the EBU strategy for corporate distribution in EMEAWithin distribution, identify and develop support strategy for new customers in high growth and high value embedded applications and segments to improve business relationship and increase profitable market shareContribute to reach EMEA Division revenue and profitability objectivesWork with Sales/FAE to understand customer needs to propose the best Micron solutionEnable and support design-in/win activity with preferred product sampling and in line with EBU product strategyMonitor marketplace and competitors for adjusting tactics and securing targeted business shareProvide regular customer feedback and updates to product and segment marketing teams regarding product roadmaps, product lines and competitionDeploy/optimize pricing strategy with the field sales in order to profitably grow business and market shareInteract with EBU world-wide counterparts (marketing/engineering/ecosystem teams) for synchronizing on products/segment strategiesKeep regularly posted EBU members and management on biz/products status and requirements with proper presentation/dataActively contribute to solve any potential customer issues setting the meeting with key playersAnalyze customer demand for forecast accuracy and continuityProvide/support customers with regular marketing messages & products update through relevant documentations/presentations/eventsProvide periodic product and market training to Distributors

Education & Experience:

Engineering Degree and at least 3 years of experience in Sales, Business Development, Product Marketing or Product EngineeringGood background and understanding of memory products including Parallel and Serial NOR, NAND, eMMC, DRAM

Additional Requirements:

Fluent in English required and German desired (speaking, reading and writing)Availability to support frequent business trips within Europe or occasional overseasStrong communication, presentation, Powerpoint, CRM and Excel skills
