Business Development Manager I
Responsible for new RigCLOUD business development and the maintenance of business relationships in the L48. This is a Technical Sales position located in Houston or Midland, TX and requires an understanding of US Land drilling rig operations. This role will be primarily focused on scaling our RigCLOUD Instrumentation and associated applications with both operators and service companies ensuring we are providing value to the customer and building lasting relationships. To learn more about our Fair Employment practices, please refer to the Nabors Code of Conduct (https://www.nabors.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/code-of-business-conduct.pdf) . + Responsible for marketing SAAS RigCLOUD instrumentation rig automation products to customers in assigned territory (Houston based – US Land.) + Develop new and expand established business. + Increase sales volume through direct sales efforts, such as calling on key clients, preparing quotes and proposals and following up with customers. + Establish professional customer relationships with appropriate customer staff + Initiate customer follow-up on a regular basis + Presentations to individuals or groups on company products + Provide activity reports via Salesforce concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and meetings; ensure sales activity is tracked properly and is up to date at all times + Negotiate prices and terms of sales with clients in accordance to company policy + Become familiar with market needs, competition and trends through customer calls, industry contacts and participation in industry organizations, trade shows and conferences. + Keep management and sales team members informed of all relevant activity \#LI-TL1 **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical, Business or related degree + 6-8 years of experience + Knowledge of US Land Oil & Gas Market + Knowledge of automated drilling rig equipment rig instrumentation/software is highly preferred **Preferred Qualifications** + Experienced in marketing drilling optimization rig instrumentation and SAAS products + Experienced with Rig or Drilling Operations + Experience with Downhole Drilling Technology Solutions + Experienced in creating estimates and working through negotiations + Experienced in organizing sales calls and schedules with detailed reporting + Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills + Must be detail focused, self-motivated and team oriented + Must have superior time management and organization + Must be able to identify and make contact with potential clients + Ability to explain products to prospective customers + Must be able to travel to the potential customer sites as needed **Behavioral Competencies** + Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication is paramount.
