Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-HybridThis role is contributing to ABB’s Electrification Distribution Solutions business in New Zealand. Main stakeholders are local sales and marketing organization, product management, customers within infrastructure and industry segments. You will be mainly accountable for:•Identifying, developing and growing new market opportunities.•Building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues.•Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets.•Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including pricing.•Preparing bids/offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department.
Qualifications for the roleYou are highly skilled in new business development, sales and account management in the infrastructure and industry marketYou have 3+ years of experience in the New Zealand electricity market. Possess an enhanced knowledge of medium voltage products and solutions.You are passionate about developing and managing sustainable long-term customer relationships.Degree in electrical engineering is advantageous but not mandatory. You are at ease communicating in English.
