Responsibilities Make an impact As a Business Development Manager (m/f/d), you will be responsible for Business Development activities within Germany and Austria, working in close collaboration with the local Marketing responsible and the local Head of Sales. Your main responsibility will be to ensure a successful opportunity generation focusing on our target industries, including lead generation, lead qualification and lead conversion activities. You will also be responsible for ensuring a strong presence in our target markets, in alignment with our Corporate and EMEA strategy. You will report to the Head of Business Development EMEA and be part of the international EMEA Business Development team, actively contributing to specific international EMEA activities. You ensure a continuous business generation following an effective lead generation and qualification process, aimed at our target markets and ideal fit customer profiles. You will be responsible to develop activity plans (campaigns, initiatives, events etc.) in collaboration with the local Marketing department. You will also be responsible for aligning these activities within sales scope, time and budget. You support with launching of new products and solutions to the German market and participate in strategic initiatives in the EMEA region (e.g. regional strategic campaigns). Application Requirements What you need to succeed You bring intralogistics market and applications knowledge. You are able to interact with customers on at a high level (e.g. C-level). Proven success of working within a professional business development or sales environment, having supported with market research, lead generation and supporting bid proposals. As a confident communicator, you conduct presentations on a professional level. You are experienced in working with CRM systems. As a confident communicator, you are self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. You are fluent in German and English.
