The Business Development Manager will drive the growth and success of our products within the market verticals. This role requires a strategic thinker who is skilled in understanding the specific needs of these utility scale wind, solar, and battery energy storage system industries and can tailor our solutions to meet them. It is vital that the Business Development Manager not only has knowledge about wire and cable products but also understands the unique challenges and opportunities present within the markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategically identify and capitalize on high-potential business opportunities within targeted market verticals.
• Forge and sustain influential relationships with key decision-makers in targeted verticals to secure long-term client retention and drive repeat business.
• Lead specification efforts with Developers, EPCs, and Owners across various industries to establish strong market positioning.
• Partner closely with the marketing team to design and implement impactful sales materials and promotional strategies tailored to specific industry needs.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments to proactively position the company's products and services.
• Channel critical market insights and customer feedback into the product development process to drive innovation and enhance product offerings.
• Consistently achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, demonstrating exceptional performance.
• Deliver precise and insightful sales forecasts to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making.
• Oversee after-sales support with a commitment to excellence, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events, leveraging these opportunities to network and showcase the company's offerings.
