About role :

As a Business Development Manager, you will support the growth and expansion of the Veeam and UiPath businesses at Ingram Micro.  You will work closely with our vendors and the wider Infrastructure team to generate new opportunities with existing and new customers.

Providing an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality engagement and solutions, along with collaborating with other specialised sales and technical associates within the Ingram Micro NZ business is key.

Your responsibilities

As a proactive and sales-focused professional who can build on existing and new sales opportunities, you will focus on building strong channel relationships to help drive growth for Ingram Micro NZ and our market-leading vendors – Veeam and UiPath

Driving channel growth across the segment and developing revenue through the acquisition, management and maintenance of customersProviding an exceptional level of commitment to customer service and supplying customers with quality industry solutionsEffectively manage and grow sales within New Zealand and associated opportunities nationallyFacilitating relationships between the vendor and resellers to cement our position as the distributor of choicePro-active Market Development, working with the customer to achieve all business and technology objectives.

Role requirements

Previous experience in the IT sales and distribution industry is preferableThe ability to develop solid relationships with existing resellers and bring on new customers to drive growthExperience and knowledge of the Enterprise Software market will be an advantageKnowledge of traditional infrastructure, virtualisation, backup, automation and cloud technologiesSuperior interpersonal and communication skillsBeing persuasive in both written and oral presentations is a mustThe ability to plan and implement development plans and business strategiesAbility to take ownership and operate autonomously
