Your Role
Mission:
The Business Development Manager Specialty & Quality Air is strategic and forward thinking with a long-term vision for developing and implementing solutions that promote specialty and quality air products while supporting, our customers, partners and our own company, on achieving sustainable profitable growth. The primary goal is to identify opportunities and integrate solutions of Nitrogen, Dryers and Boosters into the core operations of our customers maximizing long-term value creation through tangible business outcomes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Implement the APE Specialty & Quality Air strategy aligned with the divisional targets and group core values. Assess our customer’s and partner’s needs, identifying opportunities and tangible business improvement areas, while collaborating with the Regional Sales Managers.Map the North America market along with the players for Nitrogen Generators, Dryers and Boosters, specifically for our product portfolioDefine the strategic actions that will support a profitable business growth in terms of Market Share, Revenue and profitability targets. Together with the BLM, be responsible for the P&L of the product line. Support partners and customers on their current and future projects while providing consultancy as an advisor for specialty and quality air solutions. Promote a long-term vision based Total Cost of Ownership and Return on Investment, that will support a high customer engagement and Atlas Copco product adoption.Embed sustainability principles throughout our customers business strategy, improving and driving a new revenue stream with a positive change towards a more diversified business targeting APE products.In collaboration with Product Managers and APE Division, develop and improve the sales material and marketing enablement tools that will support the promotion of our products.Monitor and act on the ongoing and future governmental projects and initiatives, providing the sales team and partners timely and accurate information calling for action and promoting follow up.Map and develop the North America key contractors and players that will be involved in the use of Specialty and Quality Air products, ensuring a clear understand of our competitive advantages. Drive sustainable profitable growth with National accounts and Dealer network, in strong collaboration with Regional Sales Managers and all other departments, ensuring the best customer experience.Coordinate the different customers and Atlas Copco events, fairs, trainings, product demonstrations, etc. on any related APE Specialty and Quality Air product and marketing initiatives.Plan Dealers and National Accounts specific marketing strategies, actions, promotions, business planning and forecast for Specialty and Quality Air products.Provide reporting on performance, roadblocks with potential solutions, competitor activities, price levels and improvement opportunities.Use and promote the C4C adoption by RSM’s and Dealers with Leads and Opportunities management providing timely update of the developments in system.Engage the marketing team to improve the division’s digital communication channels and methods of reaching the customers, including improving the Specialty and Quality Air portfolio digital presence, specifically to improve the Dealer experience in accessing on-line digital manuals, requests for quotations, product information, etc.
To succeed, you will need
Experience:
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Sales or Marketing roles with a proven track record in sales and/or sales management, business development or business line management in Customer Centers.
- Specialist in Portable and/or Quality Air. Boosters and Nitrogen knowledge can be a positive advantage.
- A strong interest in Oil&Gas, LNG, Mining applications and corelated technologies.
- An understanding of the different success factors in the sales and Dealers management strategies.
- An understanding of the customer buying cycle and the ability to translate this into a solid vision on how to achieve market and customer adoption of our products and services.
Education:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, marketing or related, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
