Join our united team! **What is the job about?** ** **   Peerless Pump Company, a Grundfos subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager- Water Utility & Industry Systems to join its Engineered Systems team. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for the management and development of profitable business through direct sales and/or business partners (distributors, representatives, dealers, and agents) for packaged systems in the Water Utility and Industrial markets manufactured by Peerless Pump Company. This position reports directly to the Director Engineered Systems Business, and will operate remotely out of Houston, Texas site. Must reside in Houston Texas. Sponsorship is not available for applicants for US Work visa status for this opportunity (no sponsorship is available for H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-3, H-1B1, F-1, J-1, OPT, CPT or any other employment-based visa. One must reside in California, USA. **Your main responsibilities** :   + Promote the packaged systems business through the existing Peerless Pump sales channels for the Water Utility and Industrial markets (WIN) in the continental United States + Provide leadership to sales colleagues and all business supporting departments in regard to sales opportunities for WIN systems in the continental United States + Evaluate and Select Representatives in conjunction with other Peerless Pump WIN Market managers focused on the other products in the Peerless Pump portfolio + Develop and conduct product training for channel partners WIN systems + Deploy and/or facilitate training for Peerless E-tools + Manage pricing strategy and input to pricing tools for all WIN system products + Work with Marketing Department to develop new content and upgrade or maintain existing content + Work with purchasing and manufacturing to align capabilities to meet market needs for business success + Perform work, promote teamwork, and communicate in conjunction with our culture, values, and corporate standards (Safety, Environmental, Continuous Improvement, Communication, Policies, Etc.) + Participate in trade shows as required + Will require 25-50% travel **Your background**   We imagine that you have:    Qualified candidates will possess a four-year technical or engineering degree (ME or ChE preferred) Additionally, have a minimum of 5+ years relevant experience with sales of rotating and hydraulic equipment and systems in the Water Utility and/or the Industrial markets + Must have Water Utility and/or Industrial market experience. + Understand pumps and their markets and applications therein. + Must possess strong communication and leadership skills + Familiar with sales and marketing concepts, practices, and procedures + Ability to analyze and interpret market reports, financial reports, and contract documents + General and advanced principles of hydraulics, pump designs, and pump applications + Must be a strong problem solver with the ability to multitask + Must have a strong familiarity of computer software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, Project, etc.) + Must have ability to develop a positive relationship with our customers, sales support, production, procurement, quality, and all other internal teams + Will be required to travel up to 50% if necessary. Thus, candidates should be able to maintain valid identification.
