Business Development Professional/GSA AAS Account ExecutiveSummary:
KBR is seeking a Business Development Professional that is integral to capture campaigns and KBR’s Enterprise Growth Team (EGT) IDIQ Center! Within this dynamic environment, you will elevate the company’s GSA MA-IDIQ portfolio and define strategies to assist pursuit teams to grow the company’s footprint on a wide range of requirements across all DoD and Civilian agencies.
This position involves a holistic approach (e.g., people, processes, tools, and technology) that will be applied across entire acquisition lifecycle. Therefore, this role is suited for a business development practitioner who has broad experience across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle and has a growth mindset. While this is not initially a supervisory position, it is a position of leadership and influence for KBR’s business development professionals. This is an exciting and challenging role that requires the ability to bring together different disciplines and information. It requires creativity, innovation, and collaboration with a breadth of subject matter experts from across the company in technical and leadership roles, to build the right solutions for our clients.
We are looking for an integral team player, a self-starter who can coordinate projects, develop and learn new skills, and maintain communication with various stakeholders to contribute to pursuit management activities. This is an exciting and challenging position that requires creativity, innovation, collaboration, and consensus-building with KBR leadership and technical experts across various sciences and technologies. This role combines a need for clear and strategic thinking, project management skills, and a dedication to documenting information gathered and developed.
Primary Duties:
Strategic planning to aid in market growth by identifying, evaluating, and communicating opportunities and market trends that align to KBR’s capabilities.
Recommend strategies and approaches that align with the EGT pursuit strategy and provide summaries, leads, and tactics to our pursuit teams.
Engages with GSA program management offices, customers, and industry within each ecosystem to gain insight and understanding of each vehicle and their task orders, passing the insight to pursuit teams through trip reports, white papers, and other work products.
Serve as the expert in the Government Contracting including GSA Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS), customers utilizing assisted acquisition services, the competitor landscape, GSA IDIQ vehicles, their features, opportunities, and limitations.
Advise KBR leadership, capture managers, and potential GSA customers on the benefits and attributes of each IDIQ vehicle to develop opportunities.
Collaborate with KBR contract managers to understand and maintain vehicle compliance, including timely deliverables, and subcontracting goals.
Promote and market KBR capabilities under the vehicles at conferences and other strategic events.
Support proposal activities including advice, reviews, and artifact generation.
Ability to analyze task order solicitations and extract key insights to inform business decisions including bid decisions and other milestone reviews.
Assist with developing teaming partnerships with industry that have prime contracts under the IDIQ Portfolio.
Develop and maintain an internal KBR database of opportunity artifacts and call reports to help advise KBR Business Units of opportunities under each vehicle.
Utilize databases such as GovWin, Bloomberg, and information provided by GSA to provide analysis on upcoming recompetes of task orders on the vehicles.
Participate in various GSA IDIQ monthly Shared Interest Groups (SIGs); Annual or Semi-Annual Program Management Reviews (PMRs) and Ecosystem meetings; GSA Industry Partner Council (IPC); GSA pipeline dissemination meetings; conferences/trade shows; and other events to strengthen KBRs ability to capture and win work.
Support GSA AAS FEDSIM Service Delivery Model (SDM), FLEX SDM, and other strategically significant pursuits.
Be a proponent for and contributor to continuous improvement initiatives within the EGT that increase the ongoing effectiveness of team performance and morale.

Excellent communication and presentation skills including persuasive writing skills.
Ability to learn new skills, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt to changing assignments.
Experience in GSA AAS FEDSIM and FLEX SDM acquisitions
Ability to lead and work together as a team, either in a support role or as a project leader
Experienced in using Microsoft 365 Suite of products.
Travel may be needed, around 15%.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree + minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
