Role Overview:

As our Business Development Representative, you’ll be at the forefront of driving growth beyond our established financial sector expertise. You’ll leverage your sales acumen to prospect, engage, and nurture client relationships across retail, office, restaurant, and other emerging markets. Your ability to blend strategic thinking with a collaborative approach will be key to your success, as you work closely with our design, architecture, and construction teams to deliver exceptional results.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and target new business opportunities across diverse industries focusing on sectors poised for growth. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs and how Turnkey Associates can exceed their expectations. Sales Strategy Development: Partner with the executive team to craft and execute sales strategies that align with our growth objectives and market trends. Market Expansion: Play a pivotal role in expanding Turnkey Associates' market presence beyond the financial sector, leveraging our design-build expertise to break into new industries. Collaborative Selling: Work hand-in-hand with our design, architecture, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction. Continuous Learning: Engage in ongoing professional development, including Sandler sales training, to sharpen your skills and align with our sales methodology.

 

Qualifications:

Proven experience in business development, sales, or related fields, preferably within design-build, architecture, or other emerging markets. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients and collaborating with internal teams. Strong organizational abilities, with a knack for managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively. A self-driven professional with a strategic mindset, capable of working independently and thriving within a team environment. Ability to travel throughout Iowa and occasionally beyond, ensuring client engagement and project oversight. Passion for exploring and expanding into new industries, particularly retail, office, restaurant, and other emerging industries.  Familiarity with consultative selling approaches, with the adaptability to align with Turnkey Associates' client-first, non-hard-sell philosophy.
