The Work You'll Do:

Are you ready to drive growth and make an impact? As a Business Development Representative at Sovos, you’ll play a key role in expanding our reach by connecting with potential clients, building demand, and setting up sales opportunities. This role combines strategic networking with educational outreach to inform prospects about Sovos’ cutting-edge solutions for digital tax compliance and reporting.

More specifically, you will:

Exercise independent judgment to support Sovos' marketing and sales initiatives Partner with Sovos customers to facilitate successful implementation of products and services Drive team achievement of revenue and outreach goals Introduce and promote Sovos’ solutions to prospective clients and partners Collaborate with Sales Executives to develop and execute territory plans Provide regular forecasts for revenue and telemarketing objectives Identify and implement improvements to market development strategies, tools, and processes Manage multiple sales opportunities concurrently while building a strong pipeline

What We Need From You

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Proven track record in achieving or exceeding quotas Strong team player committed to enhancing team performance Basic understanding of business operations, finance, and organizational structures Ability to engage with mid-to-executive-level contacts at client organizations Proficient in contact management solutions (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite Creative, adaptable communicator who thrives in fast-paced conversations Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn
