ISS is offering an exciting, fast paced, team oriented, sales position for someone looking to start a career in financial services sales. As a BDR, you will research prospective clients across the EMEA region, create outreach strategies and conduct exploratory conversations with C-level executives regarding our ESG and Governance solutions. This role is ideal for somebody with a genuine interest in ESG/Sustainability looking to kickstart their sales career in the capital markets space.
Responsibilities:
Use your creativity to correspond, schedule meetings, and build relationships with C Level executives and investment professionals.
Work closely and collaboratively with Account Executives to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
Build proficiency in financial concepts including environmental social and governance (ESG) integration and reporting, corporate governance and asset management.
Learn and master advanced selling and marketing technologies in order to demonstrate services effectively and persuasively
Target and research new leads to identify and generate new opportunities for Sales Representatives
Manage a daily queue of inbound leads from ISS marketing campaigns and ISS website to qualify leads and establishing calls and meetings for Sales Representatives
Assist the sales team in developing and growing a geographical sales territory
Communicate any client/prospect or market intelligence gained in your prospecting with the sales team, marketing, and product management to share feedback or new opportunities discovered
Attend relevant industry events
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
0-1 years' work experience and/or internship
A genuine interest in the sustainable finance space
Ability to learn new technologies quickly
