SUMMARY

This role is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and generating potential customers through phone calls, emails, and social media/networking platforms. This position will build a sales pipeline and contribute to revenue growth by collaborating with sales and marketing teams. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prospecting:

Conduct thorough market research to identify and qualify potential leads through various channels like online directories, social media platforms, and industry publications.

Lead Qualification:

Screen and assess potential leads based on their needs, budget, and decision-making authority to ensure they are a good fit for the company's products or services.

Outreach Campaigns:

Execute targeted lead generation campaigns through cold calling, email marketing, and social media engagement to initiate contact with prospective clients.

Relationship Building:

Establish rapport with potential customers by actively listening to their needs and providing valuable information about the company's offerings.

CRM Management:

Accurately record and manage lead information within the CRM system, tracking lead progress through the sales funnel.

Data Analysis:

Monitor key lead generation metrics such as conversion rates, lead quality, and campaign performance to identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth lead handoff and provide necessary information to facilitate successful sales conversations.

QUALIFICATONS

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a lead generation role, preferably within the Transportation Industry. Experience working with ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Hubspot or other sales related software preferred.  

Travel:

Occasional travel to support marketplace activity.

Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:

Excellent Communication Skills; Strong verbal and written communication abilities to effectively engage with potential customers and convey information clearly. Sales Acumen; Understanding of the sales cycle, lead qualification criteria, and persuasive selling techniques. Digital Marketing Proficiency; Familiarity with digital marketing channels like email marketing, social media advertising, and SEO to generate leads. CRM Expertise; Proficiency in using CRM software to manage and track lead information effectively. Analytical Skills; Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and optimize lead generation strategies. Results-Oriented; Proven track record of achieving lead generation targets and exceeding expectations. Thorough knowledge with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
