Business Development Representative
Caring Transitions is growing, and we are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team in our expanded Puyallup-Auburn-Bonney Lake territory. The Business Development Representative is responsible for prospecting sales and qualifying leads for new and existing accounts. This person will act as the liaison between Caring Transitions and our key referral partners. He/she will be naturally curious, results-driven, and eager to bring our product/services to new markets. Responsibilities:  + Contact and qualify leads + Prospect new referral partners by making an initial phone or email contact. Engage the account and schedule face-to-face meetings. + Connect with as many leads as possible to create awareness and generate referrals of qualified potential clients. + Manage current accounts + Strengthen relationships with key referral partners through regular, meaningful contact and creative engagement, generating brand awareness, educational opportunities, and potential client referrals. + Collaborate with management to develop and execute plans and goals to grow the business  to include new marketing activities and initiatives Qualifications & Requirements: + At least one year of sales in an incentive-based environment (i.e., paying commission, bonus) + experience with prospecting and lead generation required  (including cold calls) + outside sales preferred + B2B sales preferred + Experience with CRM software + Proficiency with MS Office suite or Google Docs, especially Excel/Sheets (analyzing spreadsheets and charts), and all major social media apps/channels + Understanding of sales performance metrics + No degree required -- but specialized training and skills in marketing and business principles is helpful and preferred + Respect and appreciation for aged and senior clients + Strong listening skills, organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail + Demonstrated ability to learn sales skills + Proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently; strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure + Excellent written and spoken English communication skills This position is a work-from-home (no office commute) opportunity in the local area; you will spend the majority of your workday meeting on-site with key referral partners at their locations and traveling throughout your designated territory. This position will begin part-time with the possibility of growing to full-time.
