Currently, we are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team. Your job will be to support our Ontario team helping to generate new opportunities through the creation of qualified lead lists, researching companies, searching Request for Proposals (RFP's), qualifying prospects with the Ontario team, and communicating and scheduling all in-person and virtual meetings. Attention to detail will be important in keeping our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database current, active and updated with meeting notes and follow ups. The ideal candidate is organized, motivated, a self-starter with a high attention to the details in communication, in research, and in follow-ups and tracking. The successful candidate should be prepared to travel periodically, potentially including overnight stays. A valid Ontario driver's license and access to a vehicle are preferred. Reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided in accordance with company policies.
Ideal candidates:
+ have 2+ year's experience in a business development, sales or administrator role, ideally in a design or manufacturing firm.
+ have a background in landscape construction, or landscape architecture/design.
+ have experience using Copper or a similar CRM platform.
+ are familiar with Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Power Point.
+ will practice strong discernment in lead qualifying, reviewing RFP documents.
+ the ability to create a compelling story via excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ have a customer-service mindset and strong attention to detail.
+ have a natural ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks, love list-making and work efficiently.
+ have familiarity with design and/or landscape architecture industries is preferred.
+ will enjoy collaborating with our team of designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure. seamless customer service to our stakeholders.

Compensation
$75,000-$90,000/year Depended upon experience
