Business Development Representative
Job Title : Business Development Representative Department: Marketing Position Overview: South Central Regional Medical Center is seeking a dynamic and sales-minded Business Development Representative to proactively promote a variety of service lines, departments and procedures to both internal and external referring physicians. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, relationship-building and hands-on promotion to elevate awareness and drive engagement with our services. The ideal candidate will be energetic, outgoing and comfortable working directly with healthcare providers, managers and directors to support their needs while enhancing the visibility of South Central Regional Medical Center. Key Responsibilities: + Service Line Promotion : Proactively promote various medical services, departments and procedures through tailored messaging and value propositions that resonate with referring physicians and their patients. + Provider & Facility Engagement : Visit and engage with internal and external referring physicians, healthcare providers and facilities to foster strong relationships and promote South Central Regional Medical Center’s services, specialties and procedures. + Collaboration with Marketing Team : Work closely with colleagues on the marketing team to create and distribute relevant marketing materials that effectively target physicians and healthcare professionals. Materials may include brochures, presentations, newsletters, digital content and more. + Sales and Outreach : Identify opportunities for expanding the center’s relationships with local providers and healthcare facilities. Develop and implement outreach strategies to drive referral growth. + Market Research & Feedback : Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and physician needs. Gather feedback from physicians and healthcare providers to improve service offerings and marketing materials. + Event Participation & Coordination : Assist in coordinating educational events, seminars and conferences to engage and inform physicians about new services and offerings. + Metrics & Reporting : Track and report on outreach activities, engagement success, and referral growth, and adjust strategies as needed to meet targets. Qualifications: + Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. + Experience : 3-5 years of experience in healthcare marketing, sales or business development with a focus on physician and provider relations. + Skills : + Sales-driven mindset with the ability to influence and persuade key decision-makers. + Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Knowledge of healthcare industry trends, medical services and physician needs. + Experience creating and implementing marketing campaigns. + Familiarity with CRM tools and tracking/reporting software. Physical Requirements: + Ability to travel locally to visit physician offices, healthcare facilities and events.
