Job Description

Do you enjoy the idea of working closely with Sales and Marketing teams? Think you know what makes people — and markets — tick? Can you simplify complex ideas into simple but palpable benefits?  If so, you may be the Business Development Representative we’re looking for. 

As an industry leader, we need a goal-driven Business Development Representative with an ownership mentality to generate more sales-qualified leads via channels such as email, LinkedIn, phone and video. This position would work closely with our Outbound Marketing Manager, Growth Marketing Manager, sales managers and sales reps to make sure every lead we generate is handled with thoughtfulness.

This position will be full-time in the office and will be based in Atlanta.

Responsibilities:

Develop pitch strategies for marketing-qualified leadsReach out to cold, warm and hot leads via all accessible channelsCollaborate with sales reps and managersWork closely with demand and outbound marketing teamsHelp convert marketing leads into qualified sales opportunitiesCoordinate with other brands for lead hand-offMake data-based positioning and messaging decisionsParticipate in market-facing calls to understand our prospectsParticipate in marketing programs and sales strategy sessionsWrite emails and help manage RFPsRecord outbound video sales pitchesReach prospects via every channel, including the phonePerform other tasks to improve conversion and expansion

Basic Qualifications 

Bachelor's degree required from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College1+ year prior sales experienceDemonstratable verbal and written skillsFamiliar with SalesforceA track record of commitment to prior employers.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills 

Superior writing skills are highly desiredSome experience at a tech or SaaS company gives you a leg upAn ownership mentality will thrive in this environment
