Location: Indianapolis, IN 

 

Responsibilities

Are you passionate about building relationships and solving technological challenges? As a Business Development Representative (BDR) in our IT Solutions Group, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth and success. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging new clients, understanding their unique needs, and helping create opportunities with our IT leaders to generate new business opportunities. 

In this role, you will: 

Identify and Engage New Clients: Use your expertise to seek out and connect with potential clients who can benefit from our IT solutions.Develop Strategic Sales Plans: Work closely with our marketing team to create and implement effective sales strategies that generate new leads and opportunities.Build and Maintain a Robust Sales Pipeline: Ensure a steady flow of prospects and manage the sales process to meet our growth targets.Understand Client Needs: Conduct in-depth discovery meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of client challenges and requirements.Conduct Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to identify new opportunities for growth.Report on Sales Activities: Keeping accurate records of sales activites, customer interactions, and follow up actions. Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications 2+ years of experience selling technical solutions/services - preferred experience is in IT industry but not requiredBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferredProven experience meeting or exceeding weekly sales activities metrics (lead generation, cold calling, new meetings set, etc.)Proven ability to build strong relationships with new clientsDemonstrate tenacity and resilience in identifying and engaging new clientsDriven by success and embraces performance-based objectivesThrives and demonstrates high adaptability in a competitive and fluid environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong negotiation and closing skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment
