Business Development Representative - NetApp

A Business Development Representative - NetApp is responsible for selling Arrow managed services around NetApp to existing and new customers. The role requires a deep understanding of the company's offerings and the ability to identify and close opportunities. You work closely with the local NetApp Sales team and our partners. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, with a sales aspect and a passion for IT-services.

We offer a hybrid work model: 2 days in the office in Houten, 3 days on business travel to customers located in all the Netherlands.

Responsibilities:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with end users and partners, including regular account management and customer visits

Identifying new business opportunities and generating leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals

Understanding end user needs on maintaining continuous operation of NetApp environments and recommending solutions that meet those needs

Presenting the company's offerings to customers, including product demonstrations and presentations

Collaborating with internal teams such as engineering, marketing, and support to provide a high-quality customer experience

Negotiating and closing contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets

Keeping up-to-date with industry trends, market developments and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge

What we need:

At least 5 years of sales experience in the technology industry, with a focus on data storage or managed services; a hunting profile and pro-activity to visit partners, end-users and vendor (NetApp)

Good knowledge of NetApp’s or similar brand products and services, including data storage and data management solutions

Knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS or Google) is preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical customers.

Ability to travel as required to attend customer visits, trade shows and events (a full driving license is a must)

Ability to work independently and in an international team environment.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Really good proficiency in English.

Native Dutch language
