AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Amazon Web Services came to China in 2013, and has been relentlessly investing and expanding our infrastructure and business since then. Amazon Web Services launched its China (Beijing) Region (operated by Sinnet) in September 2016 and its China (Ningxia) Region (operated by NWCD) in December 2017. In 2019, Amazon Web Services added a new region in Hong Kong, making China the only country with three Amazon Web Services regions aside from the U.S. In 2022, Amazon Web Services launched Local Zone in Taipei. Amazon Web Services has also established an AI lab in Shanghai and two IoT labs in Shenzhen and Taipei. The Amazon Web Services Partner Network has thousands of Partners in China. Amazon Web Services has supported over 10,000 local startups and has provided cloud skills training to over 700,000 talents. This is a Business Development Trainee program.

Key job responsibilities
* Extend AWS coverage to subsidiaries, branches, spin-off & joint ventures of enterprise
accounts and consistently generate new opportunities.
* Execution with guidance for business development plan, including market events delivery,
leads and opportunities following up, sales strategy driving
* Support account manager (BDs) on leveraging internal resources and enhancing enterprise level customers’ user experience.
* Work as a team, learn industrial knowledge and common scenario, and rapidly replicate
successful cases and extend to related subsidiaries and branches.
* Help BDs understand demands and own opportunities of subsidiaries & branches. Make sure
BD’s account strategy & marketing campaigns can be executed and efficiently implemented.
This role requires a high-functioning individual who is comfortable with the following (not
exhaustive):
* Double credit quota with BD, to make sure they two have consistent sales goal, and Account
Rep can be the backup of the strategic account workloads.
* Own part of penetration accounts in territory or some BUs or child accounts of the strategic
accounts, to make sure Account Rep has dedicated account coverage.
* Familiar with AWS internal process with strong hands-on and trouble-shooting skill in assisting
customer boarding process.
* KPI of incremental revenue target achievement of subsidiaries, branches, spin-off & joint
ventures, new logo penetration, OPP created, activities logged, key deal process signed.
* Customer experience for Internet industry, including scenario innovation, business
negotiation, deal closing
* Good presentation and operation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross
functional audiences. Enjoy and able to learn quick, effective present on new technology and
business, good at identify, facilitate and convince customers’ decision maker
* Good business acumen and selling skills in Cloud business; Deep understanding of cloud
technology and AWS services with AWS SA associate certification or other equivalent
certification proved;
* Cross function collaboration skills and strong execution ability.
