Purpose of the Role

 

As a Business Development Specialist, you will assist the region expands the core business of Allianz PNBLife. You will also be responsible for the policy-related transactions, providing administrative support and service, product information, and solution to issues and relevant details to walk-in customers, sales force and bank partners, recruitment, licensing including proper monitoring of manpower activation, submissions and issuance and sales related support.

 

Responsibilities of the Role

 

Pre-screening / Monitoring of applications and pending requirements.

 

Monitors all New Business applications submitted by the intermediaries and follow up pending requirements within the specified TAT. Assists/guides AGENTS/FAs in completing the applications. Assist the AGENTS/FAs on appropriate routine underwriting requirements applicable to the application for life insurance. Report/escalate delays in processing of documents and identify areas for improvement.

 

Receiving / Processing after sales policy transactions for financial and non-financial impact/changes.

 

Receives inquiry or request for financial changes on policy.  Evaluates request and ensures that supporting documents are submitted and proper validation is secured. Receives inquiry or request for non-financial changes on poli-cy.  Evaluates request and ensures that supporting documents are submitted and proper validation is secured. Submits the petty cash fund replenishments & liquidation report on a periodical basis. Perform monthly inventory of office supplies & equipment’s and notify HO for any incidents that may affect the business and personnels in the RBC.

 

Compliance, Data Privacy, and Information Security requirements.

 

Ensures compliance to the agreed operational standards, Payment guidelines, AML, KYC, Risk Management, audit requirements, etc. Ensures proper (transaction documentation) processing of Company data and information (by following) in accordance with the Company’s data privacy and information security protocols including but not limited to (data / information) assessment, tracking, reporting, and archiving of clients and employees’ data or information. Ensures attendance and/or completion of training programs on Compliance, Data Privacy, Information Security, and other related areas. (e.g., Security Arena, Data Privacy On-boarding and Re-fresher courses, AMLA, etc.)

 

Requirements for the Role

 

Degree in Business Administration and/or Allied professions Work experience in Insurance, Bancassurance in the following areas: Insurance Administration, Product Knowledge, Training, Licensing & Agency. Preferred but not required. Excellent written & communication skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledgeable in MS word, excel & PowerPoint. Goal oriented and results driven. Flexible/ willing to adapt to changes. People/Client-oriented.
