Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity The Business Development Specialist program is a full-time employment opportunity designed to develop individuals with a desire to grow their sales careers through an immersive training program. As a part of this program, you will shadow and subsequently work alongside the Finance & Insurance (F&I) Account Executive team as they sell new business to increase market share, expand the penetration of their existing customer base, and retain business through high quality customer satisfaction. The Work Itself Beginning in July/August 2025, the Business Development Specialists will begin the 6-9 month development program. As a part of this program, you will:Receive immersive training to prepare you for success to grow a long-term career in sales at Ally.Ride along with Account Executives, Area Growth Leaders, and Dealership Trainers to better understand Ally’s sales roles and the teams that support their success.Interact with various internal teams to form a full understanding of your future roles.Shadow dealerships (our customers) to see their operations first-hand and form a solid understanding of how Ally can add value to their businesses.Partner with dealership leaders and staff while demonstrating a full understanding of dealership processes, including sales, finance, service, parts, and accounting processes.Attend and assist the Sales Enablement training team with Regional F&I Seminars for respective dealers.Coordinate sales and servicing activities with National Accounts and all other channel partners.Significant travel will be required for this role. The position requires flexibility in work schedule, including some evening hours and some weekends. The Skills You Bring Must be geographically mobile within the continental USA and open to relocation within the continental United States. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. A business-related undergraduate degree is highly preferred or equivalent work experience required.Ability to develop business relationships with dealer principles and decision makers.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Well-developed business management, presentation and relationship selling skills. High level of accountability and ability to effectively prioritize tasks. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to objectively manage conflicting priorities. Ability to work independently,

Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $71,500 USDAn individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.  Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
