Learn more about working with us at topconcareers.com **Topcon** **Positioning Business Unit** is looking for a motivated and committed **Business Development Specialist Road Construction** **JOB PURPOSE:** The Business Development Specialist Road Construction will ensure the sales of Road construction products by developing the market, both at the distributor and end customer-side and develop the market presence of **Topcon** in Road Construction for the region assigned **CORE JOB DUTIES** + Work to build up a network with the most important customers / partners / stakeholders in the area. + Responsible for maximizing the sales of the road construction portfolio within the designated region in line with the agreed sales budgets. + Understand the road construction industry and create business with existing and new stakeholders. + Work closely with **Topcon’s** Sales and Marketing Teams to provide business solutions. + Creating and supporting events for distributors, subsidiaries, authorities, universities and similar. + Get in contact with tendering authorities and private project owners to add **Topcon’s** Road construction portfolio to tenders. **MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS** Education & Experience + Civil engineer degree or similar in Business and/or Construction Industry + 5+ years’ working experience in road construction and/or construction business. + Salesmen with a technical understanding + Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and German language Knowledge, Skills & Attributes + Affinity for digitization + Ability of building trusted long-term professional relationships + A basic know-how for survey industry will be an advantage + Able to present in front of deciders in local and English language. + Willingness working in a virtual team + Language skills: fluent **English** and **German** language ( both verbally and in written form) + The knowledge of another European language will be an advantage **This is a hybrid role working remote in Germany or UK** **What We offer** + Motivated work in a dynamic team + Comprehensive training + Independent, self-responsible work – Ability to work remote + Permanent employment contract + Performance-related remuneration + Company car + Holiday/vacation accordingly with local legislation + Extensive social benefits such as pension provision, economics Have we aroused your interest?
