We are currently seeking a Business Development Sr.Specialist Advisor to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu (IN-TN), India (IN).
Business development in automotive, deal closures, offerings development
in Automotive, GTM, Partner collaboration, GCC relationship management
Position's General Duties and Tasks
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Developing new business opportunities within the Automotive Embedded Engineering area, specifically in Autonomous, Connected, Electric, and Shared (ACES) mobility sectors. Identifying and targeting potential clients, including OEMs, Tier I automotive companies, and their captive centers in India. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within the automotive industry to drive business growth. Leading project delivery efforts to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects to clients' satisfaction. Demonstrated track record of developing business pipeline and large deal closures. Collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals. Providing strategic insights and market analysis to help shape the company’s business development strategies.Requirements for this Role
The ideal candidate will possess:
A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in business development within the Automotive Embedded Engineering sector. A strong understanding and hands-on experience in Autonomous, Connected, Electric, and Shared (ACES) mobility technologies. Technical skills in Autonomous systems, including experience with sensor fusion, machine learning algorithms, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Expertise in Connected vehicle technologies, including knowledge of In vehicle Infotainment (IVI), Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) communication, telematics, and cybersecurity protocols. Experience of developing business pipeline based on GTM with solutions integrating big data, cloud computing, advanced analytics, generative AI, and predictive AI technologies Proficiency in Electric mobility technologies, including battery management systems (BMS), electric powertrain development, and charging infrastructure. Understanding of Shared mobility solutions, including experience with fleet management software, ride-sharing platforms, and mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) models. Proven experience in developing business from OEMs, Tier I automotive companies, and their captive centers in India. Excellent project delivery experience, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Experience of Functional Safety ASIL ISO 26262 A, B, C and D compliance requirements Understanding of the Automotive Value Chain Demonstrated ability to apply both technical and commercial acumen to drive business growth. Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills to effectively exchange information with clients and internal teams.Points to Emphasize
