The Business Development Strategy Sr Director: Identifies new business opportunities and creates appropriate business plans | Identifies new market opportunities (i.e., products/services, technologies, markets) | Monitors organization's market share and competition | Develops and manages the building of key partnerships and business relationships with customers and business partners
Major Position Responsibilities Directs business development strategies designed to generate, pursue, and close business with prospect accounts.Oversees the development and execution of the organization's business development program. Assesses potential new markets, evaluates business opportunities, and develops strategies for targeting potential customers. Establishes standards governing lead generation, prospect contact and follow-up, and opportunity qualification. Develops strategies for assessing customer needs and positioning the organization's products or services as potential solutions. Tracks business development activities and reports on results to management.Maintains an ongoing level of engagement with key clients and builds trusting relationships with new & existing customers.May also include responsibilities for International Business Development Including:
Overseeing attainment and improvement of international competitive position. Develops strategies to maximize sales volumes through effective financial management. Implements international marketing and sales policies. Evaluates program results to enhance operations and accomplish further success.
Basic QualificationsRequired Education: Associates Degree or Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or Experience
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Major: Business Management or related discipline preferred
Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 12-15 years experience in a relevant function
Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.). Proven experience in business development, planning & budgeting
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Decision-making skills. Influencing skills. Oral and written communication skills. Business development. Competitor analysis. Customer engagement. Lead generation. Pay Range (USD) $145,600.00 - $270,400.00 Pay Transparency Statement The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the range during the hiring process. Additional Compensation - ICP Hired applicant will be eligible to participate in the Company’s Incentive Compensation Program.
