The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team:

Role Overview:

RTX is seeking an experience dynamic, hardworking Business Engagement Lead to promote the sharing of ideas and adoption of enterprise Classified Digital Services (CDS). The ideal candidate will communicate effectively with a range of audiences, technical and non-technical, and will function effectively on a business engagement team to create a collaborative and inclusive environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals, itemized planning of tasks, and prioritization of tasks that drives the efficient execution of objectives.

What You Will Do:

**Develop and Maintain Strong Relationships with Business Units:**

Proactively engage with key stakeholders in business units to understand their requirements, challenges, and priorities relative to classified digital service delivery.Regularly meet with business unit leaders to build rapport and trust, ensuring open lines of communication and alignment.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business unit needs and provide solutions that drive value.Act as a strategic partner to business units, offering insights and recommendations to support their objectives.Continuously assess and strengthen relationships to ensure alignment and mutual success.

**Drive Business Growth and Identify New Opportunities for Collaboration and Partnership:**

Identify growth opportunities and emerging business trends that are suitable for CDS services and capabilities.Develop strategic plans to capitalize on new opportunities for collaboration and partnership.Lead initiatives to expand the organization's reach and market presence through innovative partnerships.Foster a culture of entrepreneurship and creativity to drive business growth and competitive advantage.

**Shape Early Pursuit and Program Requirements:**

Lead the initial scoping and planning phases of new initiatives, working closely with stakeholders to define project objectives and requirements.Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to determine the viability of pursuing new programs.Develop business cases and project charters outlining the scope, goals, and deliverables of new initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project timelines, resource requirements, and success metrics.Ensure alignment between business priorities, customer needs, and project outcomes to drive successful execution.

**Serve as a Key Liaison Between Business Units and Internal Teams:**

Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between business units and internal teams to ensure alignment and transparency.Support the translation of business unit and customer needs into a CDS capability roadmap and portfolio which aligns with demand.Act as a mediator and problem-solver to address any conflicts or challenges that may arise between stakeholders.Maintain and communicate a centralized view of CDS roadmaps and delivery schedules which keep business units informed and align internal teams to established priorities.Provide guidance and support to project teams, offering strategic direction and removing obstacles to progress.Communicate project updates, milestones, and risks to all stakeholders to maintain visibility and accountability.Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration, emphasizing the importance of cross-functional partnerships and shared goals.You will foster relationships within the Digital Technology community including Business Units partners, program leaderships, service owners, product owners, architects, and others.You will take flight to becoming a subject matter expert and leader in Business Engagement and capabilities as we expand our user base.  As we grow, you grow.You will ensure alignment with cost model monitoring and the tracking of risks & opportunities with CDS teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum 7 years of experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum 10 years experience.

8 years of additional experience can be considered in lieu of a degree for a total of 16 years of experience.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

7+ years as a Program Manager leading large multi-disciplined / cross-functional matrixed teams focused on technical applications or efforts.

Domestic Travel between 10-15%

Qualifications We Prefer:

An active and transferable US government issued security clearance is highly desired.Experience leading large-scale information technology programs, particularly those involving multi-site, matrixed teams, and virtual collaboration.Working experience in an elevated Agile role.Exposure to agile management tools (e.g., JIRA).Experience working in a program and/or engineering environment.Experience in IT service delivery within national security environments.Knowledgeable of Contracts, SOWs, BOEs, Information Technology and Engineering (SW & Systems) Processes and PracticesPMP and/or PMX/CMX Certification HIGHLY DesiredControl Account Management (CAM) or Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certification or similar budget tracking experience.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
