The Business Excellence (BEX) Lead in Athens is reports directly to the site General Manager, is a member of the Athens Site Leadership Team, and supports the JJ Innovative Medicine Small Molecule Platform Business Excellence team.
The Business Excellence Lead role is an exciting role where you will be exposed to a very broad part of supply chain; you will deliver value for our customers through local initiatives in Athens as well as across the API Platform. The Business Excellence, Digital Strategy Lead will play a central role in partnering with the General Manager and Site Leadership Team to develop a multi-year site strategy, partnering across functions to leverage functional strategies and roadmaps to build an aligned overarching strategy. This role will lead the Operational Excellence lean maturity and the Digital Technology programs toward our site vision.
This role leads program and project management (PMO) and associated governance processes that drive continuous improvement both within the business unit as well as certain elements of the Small Molecule Platform. The BEX Lead will be accountable to improve and sustain business results through the application of JJPS (Johnson Johnson Production System) deployment methodologies across the business units.
This function takes lead in developing sustaining improvement roadmaps (Continuous Improvement Project roadmap and tracking in the JJ Project Management Organization platform), creating and directing the improvement pipeline to deliver savings in line with the site strategy and strategic plan for the Small Molecule platform. Role model and coach the Athens teams in building a continuous improvement approach and capabilities, including ground-breaking change and continuous improvement
This role will lead the Digital Center of Practice to develop and drive execution of the Digital Strategy Roadmap for the site and partner with the DOTS organization as the support organization for the digital strategy, maturity, and portfolio of digital solutions.
The Business Excellence, Digital Strategy Lead will oversee the Operations Support Manager with responsibility for driving Operational Excellence and oversight of the Operations Training Program.
