Business Execution Analyst

The position of is a part of the Business Execution team within Markets Technology. The incumbent will be part of the global business office team and will have an opportunity to also work directly with our senior technology managers, to provide relevant analysis/support to help assess and forecast financial impact of key decisions. The ideal candidate must have prior vendor management & financial/business analysis in business support functions.

Responsibilities:

Manage the annual budget process – work with clients and portfolio managers to establish the budget for our Book of Work which includes Contractor spend.Review and validation of financial forecast, accruals, variance analysis– adjust forecast as necessary adapting to changing business requirements and priorities.Manage end-to-end vendor resources (FPC and T&M) including budget planning, contract renewals & management, resource planning, and PTS time booking Manage the resource hiring and forecasts in line with the organization’s resource location strategies associated with vendorWork with PM teams on a regular basis to get periodic updates and dataProvide reports and analyses to senior managers to summarize vendor spend and burn rateLead the new budget cycle for vendor spend & understand requirements for the following yearMonitor program spend progress to ensure appropriate financial management and adherence to budgetAdhoc management requests such as financial updates, resource and hiring reportsPromote process improvement in all areas involved; Create and maintain process standards and best practices.Collaborate with Procurement, Third party Management team, Vendor and Tech managers to ensure all contracts are being executed/ renewed in time and invoices paid in time.


Qualifications:

5-8 years relevant experienceRequired skills include project management, quantitative aptitude, and the ability to effectively synthesize and communicate complex business issues through concise presentation skills.Good interpersonal skills to oversee cross disciplinary work streams.Extensive project management and strategic analysis experience.Interest and experience in the financial services industry, in particular in the areas of technology and data mining.Strong attention to detail required and a commitment to qualityAnalytical skills to present meaningful information to senior management for decision makingAbility to handle multiple tasks and effectively manage through changing priorities in a dynamic environmentThe candidate must demonstrate energy and dedication, be goal-oriented and self-sufficient.Strong organizational and follow-up skills - follow through and adjust as needed to complete project with minimal supervision.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, must be a good team playerExpert in Excel/MS Office applications. Must be able to manipulate and link data from various sources. Excellent presentation and documentation skills. Ability to present to senior management.This role supports Global Teams, so flexibility with work hours is requiredProven success in establishing relationships with various stakeholders and technology groupsAbility to work independently or as part of a team – being able to collaborate in a remote team settingExperience in financial/business planning and/or analysis preferred.
 


Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, Masters degree preferred
