Location: Linden Ponds by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst supports the Linden Ponds Community playing an active role in the monthly reporting process, financial analysis, forecasting and financial planning. This role will participate in the development and maintenance of useful financial tools and reports to assist departments/management in analyzing financial results and planning requirements on an ongoing basis. Additionally, the analyst will prepare and present ad hoc analysis, working with local and corporate partners, identifying trends supported by data to effect management decisions. The Financial Analyst will also assist in supporting residents with the resident billing process and other financial questions related to their residency at Linden Ponds. This position works on-site at our retirement community located in Hingham, MA. Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $82, 000 annually How you will make an impact + Work with managers of Community departments to develop and prepare budgets. + Assist in the establishment of policies and procedures that ensure adequacy of internal controls. + Perform special financial analysis to highlight business opportunities/issues and recommend solutions to enhance Community performance. + Oversees the Move-Out Process and Refund of Entrance Deposits. + Review and analyze financials, including budget and actual variance analysis + Works with the department heads to review and analyze departmental financial results. + Complete monthly internal financial statements for management. Effectively highlight critical issues, risks (including business and enterprise risks), trends, and opportunities. What you will need + Exceptional people skills/ability to handle difficult conversation + Knowledge of managerial finance and accounting concepts and practices. + Must have effective organizational skills, a high attention to detail and advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Excel, databases and other analytical tools + Strong ability to analyze financial results + Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills + Knowledge in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, financial statement analysis and modeling. + Ability to communicate complex ideas both in writing and verbally. + Knowledge of healthcare and senior housing preferred Linden Ponds is a beautiful 108-acre continuing care retirement community located on the South Shore in Hingham, Massachusetts.
