Job Description Directly reporting to the Financial Director, the Business Finance Manager supports the Commercial Departments throughout the standard business planning cycles preparation (i.e. LRP, PLAN, LBE) as well as actual performance analysis of business results (sales, exp) towards relevant benchmarks. The Business Finance Manager, as a trusted finance advisor, supports the Commercial Department with regards to every ad-hoc financial analysis that might be required from time to time. He is also an active member of the commercial brand team. Key responsibilities: + Dedicated trusted partner for respective commercial department. + Key team player within the finance team. + Develop appropriate financial strategies in accordance with the Company’s strategic objectives. + Provide financial counsel and analysis to the commercial business for proposed strategic growth initiatives, monitor local operations performance versus official forecasts, providing the management team with a risk and opportunity assessment. + Provide actual monthly and quarterly financial data, in compliance with Europe area and local affiliate reporting requirements. + Provide reporting and administrative support to the management team and other functions. + Drive development and preparation of solid financial business plans (and underlying analysis) + Advise management in areas of profit maximization, licensing/out licensing, resource prioritization, and day-to-day operations. + Anticipate market activities that can impact business. + Ensure a robust, etic and compliant adherence to internal controls, existing policies and procedures, SoX requirements, US GAAP, Local GAAP and Tax requirements Qualifications + University degree (Master’s degree preferred) in Finance or Accounting. + 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, planning and financial analysis. + Business acumen, preferably in the Pharma sector. + Understanding of US GAAP, SoX requirements and preferably local GAAP. + Broad Finance Knowledge (Gross to Net, Expense accounting and management) + Broad systems and tools knowledge (Office, SAP S/4 Hana including APT and BPC modules, Power BI) + Business fluent in English. Critical skills required for the role: + Strong accounting, planning, financial expertise and analytical skills. + Capability to work cross functionally. + Strong written and verbal skills enabling effective story telling communication at any management/organization level. + Problem solving. + Ethic and compliance mindset. + Strong team player.
