Job Description
This business development manager role will drive Digital Customer Solutions into new markets and new segments within North America. This role requires a deep understanding of solutions and technology sales. Supply chain experience could be helpful but not a must.
The role will primarily be responsible for:
Develop and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders to expand DCS customer base with new segmentsSupport NA sales organization to sell DCS withing existing segmentsDevelop external partnerships to create GR strategyThis role requires a deep understanding of solutions and technology sales. Supply chain experience could be helpful but not a must.Major/Key Accountabilities
Drive Digital Customer Solutions sales in North America. With a restless curiosity, aggressively works to identify, target, and apply DCS value proposition by considering external context and customer requirements to solve stakeholder pain.Executes the sales plan to meet and exceed organizational volume and revenue objectives.Be active by investing significant time with industry groups to create partnerships and leverage Government regulations as a factor to drive DCS growth.Builds Relationships creates new and meaningful customer partnerships and able to quickly develop report amongst C-Suite executives.Uses customer information to enhance and generate new solutions.Work closely with global DCS Product, Marketing and Technology teams to partner on where to "hunt" and how to drive new business value.Work with Retailers and Manufacturers to solve common challenge areas that allow CHEP to increase its trust and mindshare within the marketplace.Support Commercial Teams (Retail / Manufacturer) as a DCS subject matter expert (SME) in opportunity development and closure.Significant cold calling to fill your sales funnel. Track all interactions with prospects in our CRM (Salesforce). Own Sales Funnel and ensure healthy pipeline across all areas (Universe, Top, in, Best Few, Closed).Ability to work across functional boundaries to ‘co-create’ digital customer solutions bottom-upSome experience with pricing of digital solutions.Strong conceptual and problem-solving skillsBe an ambassador for CHEP core values.Perform other duties, as assigned.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degreeExperience
3-5 years’ experience selling digital solutions.Retail or CPG manufacturer experience an advantage.Proven record of selling in highly complex strategic environmentsExtended experience in cross functional matrix oriented internal structuresSkills and Knowledge
