Business Impact Senior Director

Grant Thornton is seeking a Business Impact Senior Director to join the team in New York, NY.

Position Summary:
The Business Impact Senior Director will lead the execution of enterprise-level People & Culture initiatives that are critical to achieving organizational strategy and growth targets. This role will serve as a connective tissue between various departments, ensuring cross-functional collaboration, while providing direct support for strategic projects. The Business Impact Director will oversee project management, change management, communication, and execution, driving results across all P&C and other dependent business functions to ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Enterprise Initiative Management: Lead the planning, tracking, and execution of enterprise-level initiatives, including defining project scope, setting workplans, and driving progress. Act as the primary point of contact for all P&C enterprise-wide initiatives. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with members of Executive Committee, National Leadership Team, P&C Leadership Team to ensure successful delivery of P&C business-critical projects. Facilitate collaboration across organizational boundaries. Project Leadership: Form and structure multidisciplinary teams across the organization to execute P&C initiatives with high operational efficiency. Manage the full project lifecycle, from ideation through completion, ensuring alignment with business goals. Change Management: Provide change management expertise to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and initiatives across the organization. Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement. Business Analytics & Reporting: Develop dashboards, presentations, and other analytical tools to monitor and communicate the progress of key initiatives. Provide regular status updates to senior leaders on business goals, KPIs, and project dependencies. Leadership Support: Proactively support senior leaders by framing key issues, setting goals, and liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic initiatives are progressing according to plan. Provide leverage to P&C Leadership team members for high-priority initiatives and processes. Special Projects: Oversee special projects as assigned by the CPCO. Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and are executed efficiently with high-quality results.

 

Key Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred. Experience: 12+ years of project management or business operations & transformation experience, preferably in a complex, cross-functional environment. Leadership Abilities: Proven ability to lead and structure teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work across organizational silos to achieve strategic goals. Strong ability to navigate complex organizational structures and drive results. Strategic & Operational Savvy: Track record of strong thought leadership and problem-solving skills.      Strategic thinking and planning with operational efficiency that drive effective high-level execution.      Thought leadership with the ability to connect the dots across various business priorities and initiatives. Independence: Ability to operate independently and prioritize initiative resourcing, unencumbered by reporting lines. Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Project Management: Strong project management skills with ability to execute complex, multidisciplinary initiatives. Change Management: Proven track record of driving change management initiatives within a large professional services organization. Excellent communication and relationship building skills to influence stakeholders and drive cross functional collaboration. Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical acumen with experience in developing and synthesizing data into strategic insights, dashboard, and progress reports  

The base salary range for this position in the firms New York, NY (Manhattan) office only is between $222,800 and $371,300 per year.
