The Apple Retail team is seeking an exceptional Business Analyst to support and develop Retail’s Business Team, supporting the drive for transformative growth across some of Retail’s most critical markets. In this role, you will need to be creative and detail-oriented to conduct market analysis, define business problems and opportunities, and ultimately provide solutions that will help plan and strategise the way forward. To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users. We are looking for a Business Analyst with exceptional storytelling and communication abilities, strong commercial acumen, and outstanding relationship-building skills.DescriptionDescriptionAs a Business Analyst for Apple Retail Online, you will be part of an extraordinary team of specialists that are responsible for all Commercial business strategies across Apple Retail. You will be deeply committed to help drive business decisions that is leveraged from an in-depth understanding of data across the APAC region, which includes Greater China, ANZ, Southeast Asia as well as Japan and Korea. You will work closely with our Regional commercial and business managers, as well as cross-functional teams across Retail to deliver high quality reports and insights, applying sophisticated data management techniques to build Country plans and performance reporting for key initiatives and programs at Apple. - Drive strategic projects, working cross-functionally to structure problems, analyze opportunities, and develop solutions and actionable recommendations and results through a rigorous, data-driven process - Develop and implement regular reporting of key performance metrics including key performance metrics, forecasting models, marketing and campaign performance. - Support the Promo team in structuring and planning Campaign/ Events, and forecasting supply/ demand trend, producing high-level financial analysis for due diligence - Engage in key strategy and transformation initiatives and support the various Online Business teams in developing justifications and sound business cases for Leadership approval - Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock sales opportunities or accelerate growth - Monitor existing strategic initiatives and prepare reporting, as well as monitor performance of on-going strategic initiativesMinimum QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelors Degree in Business, Maths, Economics, Statistics or Data Science & Analytics7+ years of experience in business analytics, finance, go-to-market planning, or retail business management.Driven self starter; Inclination for problem-solving; Strong mathematical mindset with critical thinking and ability to write comprehensive insightsAbility to design rich data visualizations in Tableau to communicate complex ideas.
