Role Summary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for assisting the Business Intelligence and Governance Unit and Strategic Planning Committee of the firm. He/she will maintain and develop business data, perform financial modeling and quantitative and qualitative research when needed, assist the strategic planning committee in corporate planning cycles and business planning, contribute to key M&A activities of the firm, and provide support to ad hoc strategic initiatives and projects identified by top management.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop, create and maintain various databases to be used for customer, commercial,
operational enterprise analytics, and different business units as well as reports to provide stakeholders with actionable insights
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing business data and performance metrics against
strategic goals and industry performance indicators
• Create financial models and conduct qualitative and quantitative research for various
purposes including but not limited to business and corporate planning, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives and special projects
• Assist business unit heads in alignment with corporate goals and cross department
informational needs.
• Collaborate with senior management to help implement strategic initiatives and assist in managing organizational changes driven by new strategies.
• Research and report on developments regarding competitor strategies, brands, sales,
campaigns, products and position in the market and identify trends in the industry
• Research and stay abreast of capital/financial market developments as well as
government policies and regulation particularly those affecting the performance of
fiduciary responsibilities and development of new products
• Liaise, build and maintain good rapport with the different departments, i.e. front and back offices
• Comply with regulatory requirements, company and group policies; maintain compliance awareness
