Business Intelligence Analyst

**DESCRIPTION**
Responsible for the preparation of Business Intelligence (BI) analyses and reports for key stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making processes. This role requires expertise in analytics tools, a strong understanding of data systems, and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders to meet business intelligence needs.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Gather reporting requirements and analyze data to provide recurring reports.
+ Perform quality assurance and test conclusions to ensure the validity of analyses.
+ Select appropriate analysis methods to provide the most accurate insights for issues or problems.
+ Deliver recurring reports and/or analyses to stakeholders on time.
+ Extract data from operational systems and reporting databases to support decision-making processes.
+ Utilize globally standardized dashboards and reporting practices to fulfill BI requirements.
+ Collaborate with senior BI analysts and BI leaders to understand end-user needs and ensure alignment with assignment purposes.
+ Ensure effective communication with key stakeholders regarding analysis and reporting deliverables.
+ Demonstrate Cummins Leadership Behaviors to build and sustain a culture of leadership within the organization.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Skills and Experience Needed**
+ **Must-Have Skills:**
+ 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or related fields.
+ Proficiency in contact center analytics development.
+ Advanced knowledge of Power BI and DAX.
+ Proficiency in SQL.
+ Solid understanding of Databricks concepts.
+ **Preferred Skills:**
+ Knowledge of Python.
+ Experience in supporting customer-focused organizations.
+ Proven ability to analyze data and develop clear, accurate conclusions.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Data Sciences, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
