Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior-level Analyst to join the Business Insights team. This is an exciting opportunity to join our digital, informatics and technology organization and work on high-priority platforms supported by Digital Products & Informatics. DP&I focuses on the interaction of people, processes, and technology enabling MSK to meet critical patient care and research objectives. Our division manages a suite of clinical information systems including the electronic health record, ancillary systems, and other core components that enable decision support, health information exchange, and knowledge management.
You Will:
Analyze revenue cycle data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement in billing, collections, and overall financial performance.Work with business users to understand their business processes; gather and document requirements; translate requirements into functional specifications for dashboards and reports.Design and optimization of dimensional data models to support reporting infrastructureIdentify project risks and impediments; advise management; proactively work with other members of the team to complete tasks as defined by project scope and timelinesAssist in the development of data governance processes which entails documentation and implementation of data quality policies, procedures and standards to ensure a high level of data integrityCreate ad-hoc queries and reportsDevelop test plans to assure the functionality and integrity of reporting solutionsProvide leadership and technical guidance to identify system deficiencies, analyze problems and solutions to conclude and implement corrective action.You Are:
Experienced in working with healthcare revenue cycle processes and systems, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end revenue cycle.Knowledgeable about healthcare billing, coding, and reimbursement methodologies, including familiarity with payer contracts and compliance requirements.Capable of building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutionsA good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forwardAble to work effectively in an environment notable for complex, sometimes contradictory informationConsistently achieving results, even under tough circumstancesAdept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizationalAdept at building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and goalsAn effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and carrying out communications based on that understandingResilient in recovering from setbacks and skilled at finding detours around obstaclesAble to operate effectively, even when things are not clear or the way forward is not obviousAdept at learning quickly, applying insights from past efforts to new situationsYou Need:
5+ years demonstrated ability developing reporting solutions against relational and dimensional underlying data in a multi-platform environmentStrong proficiency in SQL programming, deep knowledge of relational database design principles, and Tableau / data visualization & BI toolsRevenue Cycle Data Analytics experience. Experience with DB2, R & Python programming a plusExposure to SAFe or agile methodologies a bonus

Pay Range: $120,200.00-$192,300.00
