A little about the position:
Job Summary
The Business Intelligence Architect will support full lifecycle business intelligence development (requirements gathering & documentation, subject matter expert management, development, roll out/ training, maintenance). This position will influence BI design through use of best practices and drive continuous improvement to the existing BI suite. They will work with IT resources to drive improvements/expansion to the warehouse data model.
Some of What You Will Do:
+ Design and Development: Architect, design, and develop end-to-end BI solutions using Power BI, ensuring robust and scalable architecture.
+ Data Integration: Integrate disparate data sources including databases, APIs, and external files into cohesive BI solutions.
+ Data Modeling: Create and maintain data models that support efficient data retrieval and analysis.
+ Reporting and Visualization: Develop interactive and intuitive dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI.
+ Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver customized BI solutions.
+ Optimization: Optimize Power BI solutions for performance and scalability.
+ Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation for BI solutions, data models, and processes.
+ Training: Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI functionalities and best practices.
+ Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest BI trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
+ Experience:
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in BI architecture and development with a strong focus on Power BI.
+ Familiarity with six sigma/ lean manufacturing concepts.
+ Technical Skills:
+ Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX and Power Query.
+ Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
+ Experience with ETL tools and processes.
+ Familiarity with various data sources such as SQL, NoSQL, APIs, cloud data platforms, etc.
+ Ability to write complex SQL queries.
+ Experience with business process modeling.
+ Experience in data governance and data management within a manufacturing environment.

Salary Range: $75,000-$135,000/year
Bonus: MIB Tier 4, 7.5% of base pay
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
Other: The performance of this position may occasionally require exposure to the manufacturing areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hat and/or respirator is required. Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, variations in weather conditions and noise is typical.
