Description We are looking for a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer to join our team in Spring, Texas. In this Contract-to-permanent role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic business decisions. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to design effective dashboards, reports, and analytics while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Responsibilities: • Gather, analyze, and interpret complex datasets to provide actionable recommendations for business improvement. • Design and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. • Collaborate with business units to understand their data requirements and deliver tailored insights. • Identify trends and patterns within data to uncover opportunities for operational optimization. • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all reporting platforms. • Address ad-hoc data analysis requests from different departments in a timely manner. • Document reporting processes, definitions, and data requirements for future reference. • Support efforts to enhance data warehousing processes and ensure efficient data storage. • Provide expertise in using BI tools and technologies to optimize analytics workflows. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • 1–3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role. • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making. • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and processes is an advantage. • Knowledge of data modeling and database design principles is preferred. • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
