About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dynamic, motivated individual for an exciting new opportunity: Business Intelligence & Data Analyst.

Reporting into the European Business Intelligence Team, this critical role will help build the database infrastructure that supports reporting and analytical solution that help shape customer management and business development strategies and will likely suit candidates from technical and analytical backgrounds, aspiring to grow their skill sets. This new position requires strong database development skills, business acumen, analytic mindset, and effective interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Development of high-quality database solutions Develop Extract and Load processes that extract data from multiple sources and load to a BI Data Mart spanning MS SQL Server and Oracle databasesDevelop, implement, and optimize SQL Queries, views, stored procedures, and functions using MS SQL Server/T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQLUnderstand business requirements around performance measurement and build database solutions that support those requirementsBuild appropriate and useful reporting deliverablesAnalyse existing SQL queries for performance improvements

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of professional experience in data analytics and database development FinanceProven ability to manage and synthesis complex datasets to deliver business insightsAdvanced Excel, MS SQL Server/T-SQL, and Oracle PL/SQL skillsExperience of Business Intelligence Reporting platforms such as Tableau and Power BI an advantageFluent English language, oral and writtenExcellent logical and analytical skills -- both quantitative and qualitativeSelf-starter able to manage multiple priorities in a highly dynamic, corporate environmentQuick-learner and positive, confident communicatorKnowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Technologies a distinct advantage

Additional skills:

Strong communication and presentation skillsStrong eye for detailFinancial Services experience is highly preferred, Payments experience is idealExperience with matrix organizations a plus

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
